Biography

Lisa Brewer, MOT, OTRL is a registered occupational therapist with over 10 years experience in various settings including an inclusive private preschool in Pennsylvania, The Oklahoma State Department of Health Early Intervention Program (Sooner Start) and more recently in several skilled nursing facilities here in Michigan. Lisa received a Bachelor of Art degree in Art History from Penn State University and a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Duquesne University.

Ms. Brewer's area of expertise is pediatrics and her areas of research and interest include early intervention for children with autism, inclusion, and sensory processing disorder.

Having worked in various settings, I have always enjoyed my experience as a fieldwork educator for students from various programs. I look forward to supporting SVSU students as they make the transition from students to clinicians.
