Biography

Hello!

I am a proud two-time graduate of SVSU. I earned my undergraduate degree from SVSU in 2003 majoring in History and Political Science, while completing my certificate to teach at the high school level. I also earned my M.Ed. from SVSU in Educational Leadership. All of this leads me to want to help students become successful here at SVSU.

I spent the first 18 years of my career in the Admissions Office here at SVSU recruiting, mentoring, and connecting students to the university. If you were a student during that time, you probably had to sit through some pretty awful "Dad jokes" during my presentations or high school visits...

Today, I get to connect alumni back to SVSU through our Alumni Relations Office. As a lifelong Cardinal, it brings me so much joy to hear the stories, connect in person, and help SVSU Alumni in any way we can. Our office has the mission to connect alumni through hearing and celebrating your story, inviting you back to campus to attend events, offering career networking with other Cardinals, and helping you invest back into SVSU through volunteering your time or money to support our students.
