Biography

Rene� Hernandez is a Nationally Certified and Michigan State Licensed Physician Assistant.  She has over 21 years of experience in health care and educational areas.  In addition to her Respiratory Therapy degree and Bachelor�s degree in Biology from Ferris State University, Rene� holds a Master�s degree in Biology and a Master�s degree in Physician Assistant (PA) from Central Michigan University.  Shecompleted her Health Management doctorate degree in 2012.   She serves on the Bureau of Health Professions PA Task Force for the State of Michigan, the Committee Chair for the Diversity and Minority Affairs Committee for the Michigan Academy of PA�s (MAPA), and as a member of Dow Corporation�s Human Subject Review Board (HSRB). Rene� is an active member of the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She also is a disaster medicine provider/responder and has served both internationally and nationally.
