Biography
Zachary H. Cohle, Ph.D. studies how globalization has affected elections, R&D, and overall health. Professor Cohle grew up in West Chester, PA and attended the University of Pittsburgh for his bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, and Philosophy. He received his Ph.D. from the University in Florida in 2017. Previously, Professor Cohle has worked at Quinnipiac University and Texas A&M International University. His academic work has been published in top economics journals including the Southern Economics Journal and the World Economy. Professor Cohle has been quoted in Yahoo news, the AP news, and NPR.

Research
Professor Cohle has previously studied R&D offshoring the developing world. He showed that US firms have increasingly been using researchers all over the world to create new products. Professor Cohle also studies the effect of this increased globalization on migration trends, happiness, health, and productivity. Current studies are being conducted on the effects of the Opioid Crisis on racial discrimination and innovation. Professor Cohle also studies the effect that globalization has on the election process.
